Death of Mrs. W J Rivers Sunday Morning Sunday morning at her home in East Athens after a very brief illness, Mrs. W J Rivers passed to her reward. Mrs Rivers was the widow of the late W J Rivers, who for many years was a court bailiff in this militia district. She leaves several grown children to mourn her death. They have the sympathies of many friends in their bereavement. Mrs. Rivers was a member of the Baptist Church, and the funeral services ere conducted yesterday morning at her late home by Rev. W. H.Young, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The remains were interred in Oconee Cemetery.
