OBITUARY MRS MADGE SPINKS

MRS. SPINKS 

Madge Spinks, Timothy Road, died Tuesday, dec. 6. 

Mrs. Spinks, a native of Jackson County, lived in Clarke County most of her 
life.  She was a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. 

The funeral service was held Friday in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home.  
Elder Lester O. Coon officiated and burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.  

Survivors include two sons, Bud Spinks, Athens, and Mack M. Spinks, Macon; 
five daughters, Davida Spinks, Athens, Nell Howard and Mivred Fulcher, 
Jefferson, Madge Coon, Collegedale, Tenn., and Dianne Starling, Macon; 34 
grandchldren; 64 great-grandchldren; and 20 great-great-grandchldren.

The Spinks home place was on the Timothy Road.  If you turned off Macon 
Highway, driving up Timothy, the home place was on the left side of the road, 
across from Sheats Road.
