Davida Spinks 

Athens – Davida Spinks, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007. 

A native and life long resident of Clarke County, Miss Spinks was the daughter 
of the late Homer Lee and Madge McDonald Spinks.  She was a salesperson at 
Belk’s for many years before retirement and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include sisters, Madge Coon and Diane Starling, both of Macon; 
brothers, M C (Bud) Spinks, of Carlton and M M (Mack) Spinks, of Jefferson.  A 
number of nephews and extended family also survive. 

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Monday at the chapel of Bernstein 
Funeral Home with Pastor Fernando Verduzco officiating.  The family will 
receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bernstein. 

Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American 
Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Rd., Athens, GA  30605. 

Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
