A. Wilbanks, after a lingering illness passes away At 10:30 o'clock Tuesday night, Mrs. J. A. Wilbanks breathed her last at her home in this city. Mrs. Wilbanks had been afflicted for a long time, and bore her afflictions with fortitude characteristic of the true Christian. On Tuesday night surrounded by loving children, she quietly and calmly fell asleep, trusting in the Saviour. Mrs. Wilbanks had for a number of years been a member of the Methodist church, and the funeral exercises were conducted yesterday morning by Rev. T. R. Kendall, after which the remains were carried to High Shoals where they be interred this morning.
