He was 48 years of age and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Walton, one daughter, Mrs. Eula Whitehead, of Oconee Heights, Mr. Earnest Walton, now with the American Expeditionary Forces in France, and Willie and George Walton. In addition to these he is survived by his father, Mr. W. H. H. Walton, of Athens, two brothers and six sisters, Mr. C. O. Walton, of Farmington, and Mr. H. F. Walton, of Nicholson, Mrs. Annie Carithers, of Atlanta, Mrs. Mamie Williamson, of Bogart, Mrs. Kate Oliver, of Danielsville, Mrs. Clara Fields, of Athens, and Miss Fanny Walton, of Farmington. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Prospect church and the interment will be in the church yard. The services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Askew and Mr. J. P. Cooper.
