Funeral Notice
Whitfield – The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Whitfield of
the Winterville Road; Mr. and Mrs. Will Nash, of Athens; Mr. and Mrs. H.L. 
Whitfield of Nicholson; Mr. and Mrs. Jabe Whitfield, of Gainesville, Ga.; Mr. 
and Mrs. Pete Whitfield of Cleveland, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. John Harris, of 
Demorest, Ga., are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. H.W. Whitfield this 
Sunday afternoon, March 25, 1934, from the Whitehall Baptist church at 3:00 
p.m.  Rev. Paul Brady of Toccoa, Ga., will officiate.  Mr. H.L. Whitfield, Mr. 
Erwin Whitley, Mr. Jim Patat, Mr. Will Nash, Mr. William Nash and Mr. Gorice 
Sorrow will serve as pallbearers and will meet at the residence at two 
o’clock.  Interment will be in the Whitehall cemetery.  McDorman-Bridges.

H.W. Whitfield, 67, Dies at Residence on Winterville Road
   H.W. Whitfield, 67, died Saturday morning at 10: o’clock  at his home
on the Winterville road after a brief illness.  Funeral services will
be held this afternoon at 3:00 o’clock at the Whitehall Baptist church
with Rev. Paul Brady of the Toccoa Baptist church officiating. 
Interment will be in the Whitehall cemetery., McDorman-Bridges in
charge.
   Mr. Whitfield was a native of White county and moved here early in
January.
   He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Will Nash, Athens; one
son, H.L. Whitfield, Nicholson; two brothers, Jabe Whitfield,
Gainesville, and Peter Whitfield, Cleveland; and one sister, Mrs. John
Harris, Demorest.
   Pallbearers will be H.L. Whitfield, Erwin Whitley, Jim Patat, Will
Nash, William Nash and Gorice Sorrow.
