Died at His Home in Barberville. 
The Funeral Sunday Morning

Mr. Samuel F. Woods, aged 71 years, one of the oldest and most respected 
citizens of Clarke county, passed away at his home in Barberville last night 
about eight o'clock from a long standing case of heart trouble.

He was truly a member of the old school of gentlemen and though not conspicuous 
in public affairs, was ever ready to lend a helping hand in any enterprise and 
will be sadly missed in the community in which he lived and where he was greatly 
loved and admired. 

He leaves a wife and two children, Mr. Ben F. Woods and Mrs. Cawley (sic) Wages, 
to whom the sympathy of the city is extended.

The funeral will be preached at Hoyt's Chapel on Sunday morning and the remains 
will be carried to Comer, where they will be interred.  All the details of the 
funeral will be announced in tomorrow's paper.
