Clark County

To any Judge, Justice of the Inferior Court, Justice of the Peace or Minister 
of the Gospel - You are hereby authorized to join in the Holy State of 
Matrimony Jonathan Morgan and Christanah Gardner according to the Constitution 
and Laws of this State; and for so doing this shall be your Sufficient 
License.  Given under my hand this the 17th day of September 1832.

Additional Comments:
Jonathan Morgan was born in Franklin County, Georgia, on April 7, 1801.  He 
was the son of Samuel Morgan Sr. and Nancy Hill.  Christanah B. Gardner was 
his second wife and they had seven children: Lucretia Ann, Samuel Floyd, 
Lucinda, Rhoda, Anderson, Green Bush, and Thomas Jefferson.
