Item 1. I wish my body buried in a decent and christianlike manner and I command my soul to the God who gave it. Item 2. In consideration of love and affection I bear to my grandson Blanton H. Strong of Strong Station Mississippi and in consideration of the fact that some years ago he gave to me one hundred and twenty-five dollars wherewith to pay my taxes and other obligations, I give and bequeath unto him the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars with seven percent interest thereon per annum from the date of said gift which is evidenced by a memoranda I gave until it is paid. This bequest I direct to be paid by my Executor five years after my death, and I make it a first charge on my interest in the house and lot in Athens, Georgia in Pulaski Street. Item 3. To my beloved daughters Susie F. Johnson of Ma...ter, Ga. and Augusta Hill Noble of Athens, Ga I give and bequeath equally and jointly and in case of the death of either of them to their child or children in their place, all of my rights and interest in and to the house and lot in the City of Athens, Ga wherein and on I live, being on the corner of Pulaski Street and Hanavek(?) Avenue. My interest --- in being shown my deed. From John R. Crane, administrator in business of Blanton W. Hill to S. F. Johnson, E. A. Hill and A. H. Noble to said property dated 20th day of April 1887, and recorded in Clerk's office of Superior Court Clarke County Book "EE," 690. This bequest being subject to that made in item second, and to the further --- that I give and bequeath to my daughter Augusta Hill Noble its use and occupancy of said property for the term of five years after my death that is sixty months from my demise. At the expiration of which said period the bequest in item second is to be paid, and the rights of my daughter Susie F. Johnson, but during said period the said Augusta Hill Noble is to have use and enjoy said property, with free and without liability therefor to anyone. I make this special bequest in her favor as a slight recognition of the faithful care she has given me for some twenty-five years during which period she has had the entire care of my, and furnishing my support, and has been unremitting in her loving attention. I living with her during the time and being entirely dependent on her. Item 4. I wish my personal property disposed of and I give and bequeath it as follows to my daughter Georgia Strong, my two cut glass decanters and Clarke's Commentaries on the Bible. To my granddaughter Frank Hill, the oil portrait of her father A. A. F. Hill, deceased, and one dozen of my silver tea spoons. To my grandson Blanton H. Noble, all of my silver forks and spoons ) except those given to Frank Hill) also the large old family clock which stands in the sitting room. To Augusta H. Noble my painted set of China, and the --- of parlor furniture. Item 5. All the rest and residue of the property of which I may die seized and possessed be the same real or personal including my five shares of stock in the Lucy Cobb Institute, I give and bequeath to my two daughters Susie F. Johnson and Augusta H. Noble share and share alike. The expenses of administration to be first paid out of said residue. Item 6. As my son A. A. F. Hill, and my daughter Georgia A. Strong received their full share and proportion of property prior to 1865 and as there is but little left, I think it eminently just and fair to divide the property as I have and I feel confident the children of my deceased son A. A. F. Hill, and my daughter Georgia A. Strong will see its justice and I leave to them my eternal love and blessing. Item 7. I nominate and appoint my grandson Blanton H. Noble Executor of this my last will and testament, and I specially relieve him of all necessity of giving any bond or bonds in any event and from making any appraisals of said property, and from making any returns, and should it be necessary in the opinion of my Executor to make any sale of property, I specially authorize and empower him to sell and dispose of any such at public or private sale as he may deem best and without any orders of Court or advertising and in any manner and time just as he may deem best giving him full and ample power in the matter, as I know his honesty of purpose and love for me, and that he will carry out my wishes. This poser of sale does not apply to my interest in the house and lot in Athens that I do not desire my Executor to sell, but to be disposed of as stated in item third. Elizabeth Ann Hill Signed sealed declared and published by Elizabeth Ann Hill as her last will and testament in the presence of us the subscribers who subscribe our names hereto in the presence of said testator, at her instance and request and in the presence of each other, she signing in our presence and we signing in her presence. This 20th day of January, 1894. David C. Barrow, Jr. Thomas W. Reed R. M. W. Black Georgia } Clarke County } I Thomas W. Reed do swear that I as well as David C. Barrow, Jr. and R. M. W. Black saw the within named Elizabeth Ann Hill sign and publish the within paper as her last will and testament that I subscribed the same as witness thereto at the special instance and request of the said Elizabeth Ann Hill and in her presence, as did also David C. Barrow, Jr. and R. M. W. Black; that the said Elizabeth Ann Hill signed the same freely and voluntarily and was at the time of such signing of sound and disposing mind and memory. Sworn to and subscribed & before me this 5th day of March 1894.} Thomas W. Reed S. M. Harrington, Ordinary Upon the foregoing affidavit of Thomas W. Reed one of the subscribing witnesses to the within will of Elizabeth Ann Hill, decd. it is ordered by the Court that said will be admitted to record as satisfactorily proven in common form and it is further ordered that letters testamentary issue to Blanton H. Noble the Executor named in said will upon his taking and subscribing the oath required by law. This 5th day of March 1894. S. M.
