Georgia Clarke County Know all men by these presents that we Avery Roberts, Garland Runnels & James Caldwell are held and firmly bound unto their honors the judges of the Court of Ordinary and their successors in office in the just sum of twenty five hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the said judges and their successors we bind ourselves our heirs executors Administrators assigns jointly and severaly? firm by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 25 day of Januray 1814. The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Avery Roberts administrator pretem? of all and singular the goods the chattals rights and credits of John J. Roberts late of this County dec do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattals and credits of said dec'd which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledge of him the said Avery Roberts or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit into the Clerks office for said County with all conveniant speed and also to render into the Court of Ordinary for the time being and their successors in office a ---- and just account of his proceedings therein when there ----- unto required and do at all times indimorefy? and save himself the said Clerk and Court from all persons having and pretending? to have any right title or Inhirt? to the said goods & chattals and so also pay all such reasonable charges and far: as have arisen or may become due from the said Avery Roberts on account of the said dec'd or his estate and if after they contest aforesaid new letters of administration shall be ordered to be granted the said Avery Roberts bring thereto required do render and deliver up said letters pending the suits: in said Court then this obligation to be nul & void ---to remain in full force -------.
