E. Barksdale, died very suddenly Thursday morning at 4 o'clock, at her home about five miles from town near Mt. Vernon church. Mrs. Barksdale was in her eight-second year. She had not been in good health for some time and her sudden death was no doubt caused from her feeble condition together with old age. The interrment will occur today, Friday, at the Park cemetery. Mrs. Barksdale was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church."
