A. Birdsong with whom she lived. Miss Birdsong was a life time resident of this county. Since early childhood she had been a semi invalid but always had been an inspiration to her family, friends and with all whom she came in contact. She possessed a bright cheerful and sunny disposition always even during her last illness of several years duration. She was sixty five years old at the time of her passing. Internment was in New Park Cemetery Wednesday morning, June 23, with her pastor Rev. E. B. Brooks officiating. Two brothers survive: W. A. Birdsong and C. R. Birdsong of this City, four nephews, Kenneth Birdsong of New York City, William, Willard and Charles Birdson [sic], also one niece Miss Gladys Birdsong all of this city. A large number of relatives and friends attended the services and the beautiful floral offerings attested to the high esteem in which she was held.
