T. Jackson last Friday afternoon was an occurance occasioning general sadness. About two years ago Mr. Jackson was stricken with paralysis, which was followed by other strokes, and finally resulted in death. With the exception of about a year he had lived all of his life in this county, being in the 55th year of his age. He was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church, and a Mason in good standing. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery here Sunday morning, the Masons conducting the service. The deceased leaves a wife, and three grown children to mourn their loss, and the SENTINEL tenders them sincere sympathy in their sorrow."
