"The sad news contained in the above head line will sound a note of sorrow in many hearts. Those who had the privilege of knowing this bright and beautiful child, will ever remember her as one of the sweetest of earth's cherubs. Just lacking a few months of being two years old, she had been one ray of sunshine and beauty in her home from her birth to the sad hour of her departure. The writer has seen but few children who drew so strongly upon his affections, and he feels almost a personal loss and bereavement. Who will be able to comfort the stricken parents? Only Him who said, "Suffer the little ones who come to me, and forbid them not, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." The home of our friends, Mr. and Mrs. H. Bridger Harrison, at Bluffton, has been made almost desolate, and they are sympathized with by a large circle of loved ones and friends. Little Ouida went to the angles last Thursday night, and the little body was laid to rest in the cemetery there Friday."
