Jamie Weston King

FT. GAINES — Jamie Weston King, 94, of Hwy. 39 N. died Thursday, March 18, 
2004, at Early Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ft. Gaines United Methodist 
Church with interment in the New Park Cemetery. The Rev. Garth Duke Barton and 
the Rev. Dick Turnipseed will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Eddie 
Mills, Bill Mills, Jim King, Joe King, Bob Arnold, and Cody King.

Mrs. King, born October 28, 1909 in Clay County, was a homemaker. She was a 
member of Ft. Gaines United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Edward King Jr., father, 
Crawford Weston; mother, Dovie Belisle Weston, stepfather, John Sam Goodman. 
She was also preceded in death by her son, James Edward (Smookie) King.

She is survived by one son and wife, Bo and Eilene King of Ft. Gaines; three 
daughters and husbands, Betty Jane & Collier Mills of Ft. Gaines, Barbara K. 
Arnold, Burton of Michigan, Joan K. & Hilburn Dunahoo, Brent, of Ala.; one 
daughter-in-law, Christine King of Ft. Gaines. She is also survived by her 
mother Dovie Belisle Weston. 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one 
great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m.
