Lee, in East Clay county last Saturday. Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of the section in which he died. He served during the war between the states in Co. G. Furlows battallion, of the Confederate army. He would have been 86 years old on February 11th. Surviving him are five sons, Rufus H. Lee, with whom he lived; John Lee, Camilla, Ga.; C. C. [sic] Lee, Edison, Ga.; Ruben Lee, Florida; and Pat Lee, of Columbus, Ga. Mrs. Lee died several years ago. Additional Comments: Josiah Lee (11 Feb 1847-9 Jan 1933) buried at Bluffton Cemetery, Clay Co GA. Occasionally seen in records as Joseph Lee. Was familiarly known as "Joe" Lee.
