On the 24th of August, the death angle [sic] came, into uor midst and took from us one of our oldest and most consecrated women, Mrs. Martha Richardson. In July Mrs. Richardson had lived to a ripe old age of eighty-five years and with every year her influence for good was increased. In every possible way mentioned her example was for Christ. She was a regular attendant at church even though an invalid as long as she could. She was a liberal giver and patient beyon expression. Before her marriage to Mr. Tom Richardson she was Martha Rish. For the greater part of her life she was a member of Enterprise Baptist church. To her children and other relatives and friends we have the privillege of quoting these comforting words “Come __ blessed, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you,” for the Farther [sic] is ready to take her to himself. In behalf of the church we ay we have lost in Mrs. Richardson, one of our most faithful, consecrated members, but our loss is her gain. Even though she is gone her influence will live on forever in the lives of those who know her.
