GAZEBO LOCATED IN NEW PARK CEMETERY. THIS VICTORIAN STRUCTURE IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN BUILT CIRCA 1880 ON A SMALL INDIAN MOUND. IT WAS DESIGNED BY CW MORRIS. THE FORT GAINES HOME AND GARDEN CLUB WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING REPAIRS MADE TO THE GAZEBO IN 1970. THE CLUB ALSO PLANTED SHRUBBER AROUND IT IN THE 1950'S DONATED BY JEWELRY DESIGNER ROBERT DEMARIO.
