Home of G.A. Brown located on Washington Street. Before it became a residence, the structure was the Brown Brothers Mercantile Store. Bob and J.P.H. Brown operated the store on the first floor. Upstairs they operated a tinware factory, which produced items that were peddled throughout the area. The trademark was a large tin coffeepot on the outside of the building. Later the structure was converted into a hotel.
