Mason M. Ragsdale was born in SC. in 1805.  He died in
Clayton County GA. Feb. 1872 and the information from
Ancestry .Com states that he is buried in the Adamson
Fielder Cemetery in Clayton County Ga. This information
also has a photo of his headstone marked " Ragsdale
Mason M. 1806-1872." 

I have located him in the 1870 census for Clayton
County Ga.


His Father was Elijah Ragsdale born Nov. 1, 1778
Mecklenburg Co.  VA and his Mother was Mary Kennedy
born about 1779 in South Carolina. 

His son (my Great Grandfather) was William or
Williamson L Ragsdale. I list both given names as he
appears in the 1870 Census for Fulton County Ga as
William L. Ragsdale and in the 1880 Census for Palo
Pinto County Texas as Williamson L. Ragsdale.

  5.James Berry Ragsdale Born 27 May 1834 in Henery Co. Ga.
  6.Jesse Cleveland Ragsdale Born 23 April 1836 in Ga.
  7. Martha Ann Ragsdale Born about 1838 in Ga.
  8. Sarah Frances Ragsdale Born about 1840



I know the resting place of my Great Grandfather
William Ledford Ragsdale . He is buried in Clear Lake
Cemetery in Palo Pinto Co. Texas having passed away 1-
19-1886.

I know the resting place of Mason and his wife and of
Marth to be the Adamson Fielder Cemetery in Clayton Co.
Ga.
