Hartsfield Will page 233, Will Book "A" from microfilm. Will of Davis T. Hartsfield as recorded in Clayton County, Georgia Deed Book "A", page 233 Georgia, Clayton County. I, Davis T. Hartsfield of said state and county, being of sound and disposing mind + memory, do make this, my last will and testament. Item 1 I give and bequeath to my wife Nancy E. Hartsfield for life only all my realty viz. one hundred acres of land in north east corner of lot 86 in 12th district Clayton County Geo and the place whereon we now reside, she to have said above described property with the right to use and control the same also to have the nuts? issues? and presents of same for and during her life. Item 2 I will and direct that after the death of myh wife that said above described one hundred acres of land is to be divided between my two children viz Mary E. Fort, Martha E. Hartsfield as follows Said tract to be equally divided by dividing it in the middle from east to west, said line done? run and marked and established per survey. Said Mary E. Fort to have the south half containing 50 acres and siad Martha E. Hartsfield to have the north half each to have said land above divided absolutely except as to the timber on about four acres in the north west corner in the south half said Mary E. Fort to have the right to use such timber as will make boards and said M. E. Hartsfield to have the right to use so much of the timber as will nat? make boards for fire wood. Said Martha E. Hartsfield shall have the right to cut and use said timber as necessary but shall use and exhaust that first. Item 3 I herby constitute and appoint J. J. Hartsfield Executor of this my last will and direct that he shall not be required to have my estate appraised nor make any annual returns it being my express will that he be releived from all the duties of an executor except to probate the will and make settlement as directed this February 18th 1887. Tinger, now decsd., saw the within named D. T. Hartsfield sign + publish the within paper as his last will + testament that we signed the same as as wintesses thereto at his special + request of the said D. T. Hartfield + in his presence as did W. A. Tinger in the presence of testator and each other that the said D. T.
