Ms. Cooper was born September 2, 1975, in Valdosta. She was employed with the Coffee County Board of Education as an advocate for migrate children for 1-1/2 years. She had worked 16 years for the Colquitt County Board of Education at the R. B. Wright Elementary School as a first grade teacher. She attended the Covenant Church of Douglas. Survivors are one daughter, Callie Claire Cooper of Douglas; one son, Lee Blaire Cooper, Jr. of Lake Park; her father and mother, Jimmy C. McMillan, Sr. and Claire Griffis McMillan of Douglas; two brothers, John Jacob McMillan of Douglas and Jimmy Charles McMillan, Jr. of Brunswick; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Ms. Cooper were held on Saturday, December 5 at 3 p.m. at Edith Baptist Church in Fargo. Interment was in Fargo Memorial Cemetery in Fargo.
