She was born October 15, 1947, in Homerville to Louise Griffith of Homerville and the late Clyde Jefferson King. She graduated from Valdosta State College with a master’s degree in special education and worked for Behavioral Health Services in Thomasville as a learning disability teacher. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include one daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and Kevin Berryhill of Ray City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Graham and Faith Bridges of Homerville and King and Andrea Bridges of Hahira; one sister and brother-in-law, Bess and Jimmy Crumbley of Homerville; one brother, Bubba King of Homerville; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. A private family service will be held May 21 at Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Georgia Sheriff Boys Ranch, P.O.
