Mrs. Roundtree was born May 29, 1942, in Homerville, to the late Chesley Boatright and Carrie Mae Beverly Boatright. She was a charter member of the Harvest Time Church of God and was retired from B-way. Survivors are her husband, John B. “J.B” Roundtree of Homerville; four sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Findley of Homerville, Wayne and Tammy Roundtree of Pearson, Wesley and Caroline Roundtree of Homerville, Kenny Roundtree of Waycross; daughter and son-in-law, Tiffiney and Jerel Anderson of Pearson; eight grandchildren, John Wayne Roundtree II, Heather and Devin Long, Mitchell and Taylor Roundtree, Ben and Elizabeth Johnston, Brock Roundtree, Lee Anderson, Autumn Anderson, and Annie and Dustin Bagley; two great-grandchildren, Camben Roundtree and Aleigha Johnston; and number nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Roundtree was held Thursday, June 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Harvest Time Church of God. Interment was in the Shiloh Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Robbie Vinson, Wilbur Mosley, John Moore, Bruce Moore, Ben Johnson, Mitchell Roundtree, Fred Hulett, Tommy Hulett. Honorary pallbearers were R.J. Floyd, Eugene Floye, Ricky Floyd, Robbie Moore, Curtis and Debbie Bennett. Mrs. Audrey Manac sang, “The Lighthouse,” The Wilford Family sang, “Two Coats,” and “Heaven Will Not Receive a Better Mother.” Roundtree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
