FOWLER-HOY CEMETERY, COBB COUNTY, GA

Location:  Deen Rd., Woodstock, GA.  Take Canton
Rd. north from Hwy 75 in Marietta to Lake Dr.
Turn right onto Lake Dr., cross railroad tracks
and turn left onto Deen Rd.  Cemetery is on the
right, behind the houses.  It is maintained by
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
Sandy Plains Ward, through the Adopt-A-Cemetery
program.


Details: This is an old cemetery that is
deteriorating.  Several stones can't be read.  A
lot of natural stone markers without writing are
used.  The cemetery is fenced with a gate that
isn't locked.  As far as I can tell, this
cemetery is not listed in the Cobb County GNIS
list.

Although all of the people in this cemetery are
related to me, George and Susan (Hyde) Durham are
my direct ancestors.  George and Susan are
my great-great-great-grandparents.  I have not
yet found the grave site of George?s parents,
John and Mollie (Carlton) Durham.
