Miss Sallie was known and loved by many. She was in her twenty-fifth year, and was one of Acworth's most popular young ladies, and was universally esteemed for her many womanly virtues and endearing qualities. She was pleasant and charming and a great favorite in society circles in which her happy face shall never again appear. She will be greatly missed by her numerous friends and acquaintances, and it will be hard to realize that she is gone from them forever. She was a member of the Methodist church and was a devoted Christian. Miss Ruth HOLLAND of Tunnell Hill is the guest of Miss Julia STRICKLAND. The friends of Miss Mary McDOWELL will be glad to learn that she has about recovered from a spell of sickness. Miss Mamie GORDON of Cleveland, Tenn., is the guest of Mrs James R LEMON. Mrs J T COLLINS, who has been quite sick, is gradually improving. In the absence of the pastor, Rev BOURNE, Rev A J JOHNSON filled his pulpit at the Presbyterian church Sunday. - Dixie File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/acworthc202nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
