The Acworth high school will open Monday August 29th. The protracted services held at the Baptist church conducted by the pastor, Rev E M DYER, closed Friday night. Much interest was manifest and there were four accessions. The baptism to occur the first Sunday afternoon in September. DIED - Mr A B KELPIN, of Chattanooga, died here at his father's house, Sunday night, of typhoid fever. The funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev E M DYER, after which he was laid to rest in the city cemetery. The many friends of Miss Myrtle DISMUKES will be glad to learn that she has about recovered from her severe illness. Mrs C F STOKELY is visiting friends and relatives in Atlanta. Mr J R LEMON and wife leave Thursday for Anniston, Alabama, which place they will make their future home.
