He was buried by the Masonic order. Nearly all the stores have new glass fronts now. Ed LEMON and wife have gone to housekeeping up stairs in Mr TUMLIN's residence. Mrs Frank COWAN is visiting her daughter, Mrs J H STROUD. Zeb RAINY was in town last week, after several years' absence. Miss Mary ADAIR visited relatives here last week. Orlando AWTREY has bought Mrs RAINEY's house on Dallas street. Dr BAILY and wife are spending some time in Atlanta. Several from here will visit the Paris exposition this year. Our town was visited by a snow storm last Sunday night but the snow melted before day. Some of the city lamps that have not been used for several months have been put in order and are once more doing duty. Mrs Alva SHADWELL and daughter of Chattanooga are visiting her sister, Mrs Lena STROUD.
