Marietta Journal February 22, 1906
From the Marietta Journal dated Thursday, February 22 1906:

ACWORTH

Miss Georgia KENDRICK of Comer is visiting her brother D B KENDRICK.

Mr and Mrs J C STOKELY of Douglasville visited the family of Judge D E STOKELY
here the past week.

Mrs Georgia McFARLAND of Alabama, who has been visiting Miss Alice ADAMS, left
for a visit to relatives in Marietta last Thursday.

Mrs Robert CARNES returned last Thursday to her home in Clayton county.

Mrs Daniel G STEWART and Mrs Alice NORTHCUTT are visiting in Atlanta.

Mrs George NORTHCUTT returned to Marietta last Saturday.  She was accompanied by
Miss Lolla BARRETT.

Rev A E SEDDON of Atlanta preached two interesting sermons at the Christian
church last Sunday.

The Japanese Tea, given by the ladies of the Presbyterian church, at the
residence of Mrs Ed LEWIS, on last Friday night, was quite a success socially as
well as financially.  They realized a sum of about $30.00.
