Marietta Journal May 7, 1908
From the Marietta Journal dated Thursday, May 7 1908:

ACWORTH

Mr Z L McLAIN, who has been in a sanitarium in Chattanooga for a number of
months, was brought to Acworth Friday.

Mr and Mrs A P McLAIN left Wednesday for a visit to their daughter, Mrs Charles
L POWER, at Dublin, Texas.

A culmination of an interesting romance was the marriage of Miss Nettie Lou
LUNSFORD to Mr Warren DAVENPORT last Sunday morning just after Sunday school. 
The ceremony was performed by Rev W G CRAWLEY, at the parsonage on Dallas
street, in the presence of only a few friends.  The bride is a highly esteemed
daughter of Mr and Mrs T J LUNSFORD, and the groom is one of Acworth's promising
business men.  He is the senior partner of Davenport & Kincaid, liverymen.  Mr
and Mrs DAVENPORT are now at home at Hotel Litchfield.
