ACWORTH

Miss Grady DuPRE of Blue Ridge visited Miss Minnie McLAIN last week.

Mrs FLEMING of Alabama is visiting relatives here.

Mr and Mrs H C WILLIAMS visited Chattanooga last week.

Misses Mattie and Hattie MITCHELL returned from a visit to Chattanooga last
Wednesday.

Miss Lalla BARRETT returned from Chattanooga last Monday.

Among those of our little city visiting the Carnival in Chattanooga last week
were Mr and Mrs J B RAINEY, Mrs Eva RAINEY, J F and C F COLLINS, Rogers LEMON,
Misses Jennie and Pearl HERNDON and Myrtle WILLIAMS.

Miss Fannie PETREE of Atlanta is visiting her grandmother, Mrs McMILLAN, here.

Mrs C F McLAIN of Calhoun and Mrs MORRIS of Dalton are visiting their parents,
Mr and Mrs A L ORR, near here.

Rev R H ORR visited his sister in Calhoun last week.

Mrs M K WILLIAMS visited her daughter, Mrs H E KERLY, in Marietta last week.

Mrs W P MARTIN of Marietta visited her father, M J ABBOTT, here last Friday.

W L ABBOTT and Penn MITCHELL attended the Grand Lodge of Odd Fellows in Valdosta
last week.

Rev and Mrs O L KELLY visited relatives in Rockmart last week.

Mr and Mrs Lambert HARMON of Trion visited relatives here last week.

J M CONNELLY of Statesboro, N. C., spent several days here last week with his
sister, Mrs A J DURHAM.

Mr Wilson NOYES of Columbus spent several days last week with his parents here.

Hiram and Mark GOODWIN have returned from a three weeks visit to their parents
in Texas.

Mrs Fannie COLLINS is quite ill at her home here.

Misses Annie Lu LEMON and Lucile SHUFORD have returned from Agnes Scott,
Decatur, where they have been in school.

Mrs George NORTHCUTT of Marietta is visiting her parents here.

A protracted series of meetings is in progress this week at the Christian
church.  Rev CHASTAIN, the pastor, is assisted by Rev W J COCKE of Atlanta.

Mrs Ludie WILSON visited Atlanta Monday.
