ACWORTH

Mr and Mrs Joe ABBOTT of Marietta spent a few days in our city the past week.

Mrs R L CARNES of Riverdale is visiting relatives here.

Jesse CARNES of Augusta is visiting his parents, Mr and Mrs R H CARNES.

Mrs P C CARNES of Augusta is visiting relatives here.

Mrs Lalla REED of Alabama visited her parents, Mr and Mrs PAYNE, here last week.

Mrs C F McLAIN of Calhoun; Mrs H C MORRIS of Dalton and Robt H ORR of Canton,
attended the funeral of Mr D W ORR at Mars Hill.

The death of Mr D W ORR at his home near Mars Hill last week removes from Cobb
county one of the best, most substantial and oldest citizens.  It was a grief to
all in this community.
