The Marietta Journal December 14, 1905
ACWORTH

Miss Lucile Shuford of North Carolina is visiting in Acworth.

Rev and Mrs G T Bourne visited friends here this week.  Mr Bourne preached at
the Presbyterian church Sunday evening.

Rev Christian, Presiding Elder of the Marietta district, preached at the
Methodist church last Sunday morning.

Mr and Mrs Z L McLain have come back to Acworth to live.  Mr McLain will open up
a dry goods store here the first of the coming year.

Miss Kate Nichols visited Miss Hattie Tippen in Kennesaw last week.

Mrs R D Hull visited Atlanta last week.

Mrs S B Rainey visited relatives and friends in Atlanta last week.

Mrs W C Humphries is visiting relatives in Columbus.

Mrs Penn Mitchell spent one day last week in Atlanta.
