Mrs Walter Nichols and Miss Della Willis visited Mrs Silver in Kennesaw during the holidays. S H Lewis attended the Masonic celebration at Lost Mountain on last Wednesday. Misses Pearl McLain and Annie Awtrey entertained the younger set at a Christmas tree party on Christmas night. Quite a number of parties, entertainments, dinners, teas, etc, were given by the people of Acworth during the holidays. Miss Hattie Mayes is visiting relatives in Macon. Miss Mary McDowell left Christmas to join her mother and family, who are now making their home in Atlanta. Misses Maggie and Florence Watson visited Miss Calhoun in Cartersville during the holidays. Elzy, Tom and Henry Grogan spent Christmas in Atlanta. Dr and Mrs A J Durham spent the holidays in Statesboro, N. C., visiting her parents. J W Rogers and family have moved to Columbus. Miss Kate Logan visited Atlanta last week. Prof H D Meriwether spent the holidays with his family in Norcross. Miss Fannie Adams returned Saturday from a visit to relatives in Rome and Adairsville.
