ACWORTH

Mrs C G DURHAM and Mrs C C ADAMS visited Atlanta last week.

Brantley CRAWLEY of Marietta visited George WILSON last Saturday.

Mrs James TANNER of Atlanta visited his brother here last week.

Mrs Emily STEWART of Powder Springs has returned home after visiting her mother,
Mrs E R BATES.

Mrs N E PHILLIPS has returned home after a visit of two months to her daughters
in Menlo, and relatives in Rome, Rockmart and Cartersville.

Miss Maybelle JOHNSON has returned from a visit to relatives in Atlanta.

Mrs J O and Miss Maude HILLEY spent part of last week in Atlanta.

Misses Ione COOPER and Fannie SHOCKLEY of Marietta were visitors in Acworth last
week.

Mrs John BARTON of Canton is visiting her father, H M PUTNAM and family.  

Mr Roy DAVENPORT has accepted a position as watchmaker and engraver for Sellers
Jewelry Co., of Cuthbert.

Miss Margaret WATSON has resigned her position as bookkeeper of the S Lemon
Banking Co., and has gone to Atlanta to accept a position with Hawks.

Miss Lillian McDOWELL of Atlanta spent the week end with relatives here.

Mr and Mrs W F BAKER, Mrs Robert JONES, Mrs FRANKS, Mrs CASON and children, Mr
and Mrs Cliff SORRELLS, Mrs Charlie SORRELLS and children, with many other
friends of Cartersville attended the funeral of Mr Charlie SORRELLS here Sunday
afternoon.
