Prof. and Mrs James Northcutt of Battle Hill spent Christmas with their parents here. Mrs Wayne Farris of Atlanta returned home Monday, after a visit to her mother here. Misses Maitland and Gault of Cartersville were guests of Miss Kate Nichols during Christmas. Mr Jim McConnelly is visiting his sister, Mrs A J Durham. James Sain and family visited Mrs Watson here last week. Miss Nolla Barrett spent the holidays here with her parents. Mrs Mark Goodwin of Atlanta is visiting the family of C C Phillips. Mr and Mrs Jesse McLain of Canton visited relatives here last week. Miss Ora Hilburn of Atlanta visited the Misses Kitchen here last week. Ed Williams and family of Marietta visited Mrs Smith here last week. C L McMillan of Jefferson spent Christmas with his parents here. Miss Lou Bate has returned from a three months' visit to her brother, W T Bate, in Barnesville. Mrs J H Perkinson visited relatives in Woodstock last week. Miss Grace Putnam visited Mrs Barton in Canton last week. Orlando Awtrey and family spent Christmas in Marietta with Mrs D F McClatchey. Mrs McClatchey visited relatives here last week. Chas. Rainey of Coffee Springs, Ala., spent Christmas here with his parents. Rev and Mrs A J Morgan spent a few days last week in Villa Rica. Mrs Nat Guyton spent Christmas here with her mother, Mrs Tippin. Lemon and Raymond Awtrey from Mercer University; Jack Abbott and John Tippin from North Georgia Agricultural College; Ed McMillan from Davidson College, N. C., came home to spend the Christmas holidays.
