The Marietta Journal June 11, 1891
ANTIOCH

Mr Ed WYATT, of Chattanooga, who has been visiting relatives, has returned.

The recent rains have made the farmers go to work with new energy.

Mrs STROZIER, who has been very sick the past week, we are glad to learn, is
improving.

Rev Joseph GABLE preached for us last Sunday.  Our next quarterly meeting will
be held at Antioch the nineteenth and twentieth.

Mrs Mary GAINES, of Roswell, is visiting her grandchildren here.  She has
reached the advanced age of eighty-three years and still enjoying very good health.

The delegates have returned from the District Conference and report having had a
good time.

Quite a number of our young people went to Sorrell Springs last Saturday and
Sunday to the singing convention and enjoyed the occasion very much.  We are
glad to know that Bunk and all the rest returned home safe if not sound.
