The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents by Rev John GUINAN of Sacred Heart Church Atlanta. The wedding march was rendered by Miss Mary Kate CURETON. The bride wore a coat suit of dark blue with hat and accessories to match, a corsage of pink and white carnations and the handkerchief carried was one used by her mother on similar occasion, after the ceremony a salad course was served and the happy couple left immediately in their car for a three weeks visit to different points in Florida. On their return they will be at home to their many friends at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Rebecca CURETON was the guest of her sister in Atlanta the past week. Mr Clyde BENNETT has received his honorable discharge from the army. He was stationed at New Port News, and is now at home with his mother, Mrs Lizzie BENNETT. Mrs Fred HUMPHRIES Jr left this week to spend the winter in New Orleans, La. Miss Mary STRICKLAND of Chipley attended the SUGGS-BROOKS wedding. Mrs W A HUMPHRIES and son Frank left this week for Dade City, Fla. Mr Roy OWENS of the U S Navy was the guest of his mother the past week. Mr Carl HAYNES has received his discharge from the U S Navy, and is at home with his parents. Misses Cue MOSLEY and Mary DAVIS were recent visitors to friends in Atlanta. Miss Evelyn WARE has returned after spending the holiday with her parents in Dublin. The many friends of Mrs Joe JORDAN deeply sympathize with her in the loss of her father, Mr MATTHEWS of Dallas, Ga. Mr and Mrs Howard LAND are visiting in Dallas.
