Cobb County Times August 1, 1918
BENSON

Our community is all astir this week with association folk.  The committee has
prepared an interesting program and everybody seems to be enjoying the discussions.

Mr B A KING and daughters, Misses Nellie and Ada, spent the week-end at Waleska.

Miss Beulah CHANEL is visiting her sister, Mrs Walker OWENS, at Rocky Mountain
this week.

Miss Tallie COOK of Cherokee spent the week-end with relatives here.

Mrs Linda GREEN returned home with Mr and Mrs Marion HATCHER of Kennesaw, who
had been visiting our community.

Mr John McNEELY has given up his job in Atlanta in order to spend some time with
his parents, Mr and Mrs J W McNEELY.

Mr Pickens TATE and family motored over to Montezuma for a short visit this week.

Mr and Mrs B A KING are up in Cherokee this week, looking over a farm they have
an idea of buying.
