The Marietta Journal February 1, 1900
BETHEL

We regret to note the illness of Uncle James KEHELEY.  He has been sick with
heart trouble for a long time and is still very low.

Miss Ione SHAW, one of Bethel's most charming young ladies, visited relatives
and friends in Atlanta last week.

The dance at Mr Stewart SLUDER's last Friday night was largely attended and
enjoyed by all present.

John KEHELEY Jr and wife are boarding at D S BLALOCK's.

J L SIMPSON has completed his dwelling near this place and moved into it.  We
wish him a long and happy life.

R A DEMPSY of South River visited relatives here last week.

W A SIMPSON, who has been sick for quite a while, is some better.

R M BYRD left last week for Pensacola, Fla.
