CROSS ROADS

Mr and Mrs Clifford MURDOCK announce the birth of a fine girl at their home.

Mr James HEMBREE returned home last Wednesday from the sanitarium in Marietta,
where he underwent an operation for appendicitis, and is doing fine.

Mr J A LONG and family spent the week-end near Little river.

Mr and Mrs Raymond PACE of Atlanta visited their sister, Mr and Mrs James
HEMBREE Sunday.

Mr Cliff SIMPSON spent Sunday morning with Mr Vernie CRAWFORD of Camp Ground.

Mr Levi HAYGOOD and Mrs Fannie BROWN of Sandy Plains spent one evening last week
with their daughter and sister, Mrs Kate HEMBREE.

Mr and Mrs Ernest CASTEEL visited relatives in Cherokee Saturday night and Sunday.

Misses Florence and Nora HEMBREE spent Saturday night with Misses Essie Mae and
Jeanetts BROWN of Sandy Plains.
