The Marietta Journal August 26, 1897
DUE WEST

Mr J A L BORN and Miss E A DICKSON have gone to Rockdale county on business. 
Miss Eliza on her return will spend a few days at Decatur with friends.

Mr M L GREEN has gone to Atlanta to get a buggy.

Mr S W JAMES has been quite sick for several days.

Master John WILLIAMS, the little blind boy of Mr N E WILLIAMS, has a broom
factory on a small scale and is making a good broom.  He is at his father's five
miles from Marietta.

Mr Rad BROOKS and Mr A J COX are making their annual rounds sharpening gin saws.
