The Marietta Journal February 7, 1907
DUE WEST

This community is sympathizing with the wife and children of the late David W
ORR, who passed to a better home on the 27th ult.  He had been a member of Mars
Hill Church for 62 years; no church ever gave up a truer Christian, no community
a better neighbor.  He was interred at Mars Hill.  Rev SEARIGHT conducted the
funeral.

Mrs Sallie HAMILTON and Mrs Robert HAMILTON are on the sick list.

Mr A D GREEN and wife are visiting their daughter, Mrs DRAKE, at Whitesburg.

Mrs BREWER and Sterling GREEN of Austell spent Sunday with the family of B W
GRIGGS.

B W GRIGGS has a list of all the engines, their names, what they cost and the
number of miles they ran annually on the W & A railroad before the Civil War. 
Also a list of the first jurors drawn in Georgia, 1733.
