Cobb County Times June 3, 1921
EAST OAK GROVE

The singing given by Mr and Mrs Jim FREEMAN Sunday night was highly enjoyed by a
large crowd.

Mrs Lizzie TYSON visited Mrs Nathan MADDLY, near Carmel, the week-end.

Miss Octavia TYSON visited Mrs Fannie HUNTER, near Carmel, Friday.

Mr and Mrs J G HUNT and baby spent the week-end with relatives in Woodstock.

Mr R E RAY and family of near Shilo, spent Saturday night with Mr and Mrs W L
STURDIVANT.

Several of our young folks attended the all-day singing at County Line and
Sweetwater and reported some fine singing.

Everybody remember June 5th is Children's Day at Bascomb.  Everybody is invited
to come and bring a well-filled basket and take a part in our Sunday school
class exercises.
