Mr Pete CURRY ran into the road and caught the horse. The horse was very badly hurt. Mr ROBERTS escaped without injury. Miss Julia JONES of Powder Springs is visiting W A MADDOX. Mr Sam REECE and Miss Alice KENDRICK, with several friends, came to Rev D J MADDOX's last Sunday morning and were married at 9 am. The party returned to Mr DeWit HAMES' and enjoyed the good dinner which Mrs HAMES knows so well how to arrange. Late in the evening Mrs KENDRICK came for them and as white roses were out of season, they pinned white chrysanthemums for the emblem of peace. Messrs Thomas E and Peter F CURRY have bought lots at Elizabeth from the Kennesaw Marble Co., and will erect nice dwellings thereon. S.C.
