Mr Dan ALLEN's little son, Cecil, is much better. Mrs D L MOON gave an afternoon quilting last week, and during the afternoon light refreshments were served. All present had a delightful time. Mr and Mrs John SANDERS of Kirk's Chapel visited Mrs D L MOON last week. The pound party at Mr Dave BIZZELL's Saturday night was enjoyed by all present. Mrs D L MOON and Miss Janie WAITS visited Mrs Taylor SANDERS, near Powder Springs, last week. The people in our community are beginning to look around for pigs to fatten for next winter. Several of our farmers have some fields of fine wheat which have not been injured by the bad weather. Mr and Mrs P DANIELL of Concord visited Mr J E CROW's family. Mr Edmond DANIELL of this place cut his hand seriously last week, and it bled profusely before it was stopped. The sleet last Sunday made the wood and fields look like fairy land for awhile. Owing to the inclement weather, no services were held at Mt Paran last Saturday and Sunday. Our farmers are bestirring themselves, plowing and clearing up, and fixing for planting time. - Josh File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cobb/newspapers/fairview264nnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/gafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
