Found in the Marietta Journal dated Thursday, April 16 1908:

KENNESAW

Rev F M LACY preached at the Baptist church last Sunday.

Mrs Will SMITHSON and little grandson of Atlanta visited relatives here Saturday
and Sunday.

Mr J B HODGEN was struck with paralysis Monday.  His many friends hope he may
recover.

Seven of Mr John CAGLER's family have measles.

Mr Van PYRON of Atlanta spend Sunday at home.

Mr and Mrs A A EIDSON and little son, Robert William, of Etowah, Tenn., are
visiting relatives here.

Messrs Charlie and Mark CASON of Atlanta spent Sunday here.

Mr and Mrs Pierce McGEE visited in Atlanta last week.

Mr Leslie JILES spent last Wednesday in Canton.

Mr G C PICKENS has returned to Athens.

Mr Thomas WHITFIELD of Chattanooga was a recent visitor to his son, Mr L P
WHITFIELD.

Mr George SKELTON and Mr Jas PYRON have each bought a lot from Mr S J CASON on
Acworth street.

Mr J W BENNETT of Atlanta was in town Sunday.

Mrs Wallace EVANS of Atlanta spent Sunday with Mrs Steve EVANS.

Mr Tom GUNNELLS of Albertville, Ala., has been visiting his sister, Mrs A L
ARRINGTON.  He was accompanied by Miss Polly GUNNELLS.

Mr and Mrs Thomas HARDAGE spend Sunday with Misses Lou and Cinda HARDAGE at
Hardage.

Mr Felton WOOTEN of Atlanta spent Sunday here.

Mrs Frank BURT and children are at home after a delightful week's visit with
friends and relatives in Atlanta.
