From the Marietta Journal & Courier dated Friday, April 29 1910:

KENNESAW

Died - Mrs Elizabeth PYRON, aged 87 years, April 21st, at the home of her son,
Mr Steve PYRON, Sr.  The funeral was conducted by Rev Mr CANTRELL at the family
burying ground at Acworth Friday.  Messrs Charlie and John PYRON of Acworth and
Mr Steve PYRON survive her, besides a number of grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.  Mrs PYRON had lived a long and useful life and will be
missed by her relatives and friends.  Since her residence here she was known as
Grandma PYRON, and was loved and esteemed by her neighbors. We join with the
entire community in sympathy with the bereaved relatives.

Mr G STUBBS visited in Cedartown Sunday.

Mr RUSSOM and Mr WHITWORTH of Dallas were recent visitors to Mr and Mrs WHITWORTH.

Miss Sallie GILES has returned from Valdosta where she has been teaching.  

Mrs Mary HILLEY is visiting her son Mr James HILLEY near Calhoun.

Mr Nolan CAGLE has returned from Folkston.

Miss Bess CAGLE is at home from Atlanta.

Mr and Mrs Lucius LEATHERS and son James of Villa Rica have been visiting Mrs S
J PYRON and family.

Mr and Mrs W B GRIGGS, Miss Carrie and Mr Ernest GRIGGS visited in Tilton recently.

Mrs W O WARDLAW is in Atlanta at an infirmary where she has undergone an operation.

Miss Wissie McREA spent Wednesday in Atlanta. 

Mrs B H HILL is being treated in Atlanta, her hearing having become somewhat
impaired.

Miss Leila SEWELL of near Marietta was a recent visitor of Mr and Mrs Mayes SEWELL.

Miss Lowis BRINKLEY was visiting in Marietta last week.

Misses Maud CASSIDAY and Pearl BICKERS spend Saturday and Sunday in Marietta.

Mr and Mrs Lynn FITZGERALD of Atlanta were recent visitors to relatives here.

Mrs W T BORING spent Thursday and Friday in Atlanta.

Mr J T STEVENS of Colorado is visiting Mr and Mrs W P SILVER.

Mrs D S TENNENT of Marietta will visit her sister, Mrs H H BORING.
