The remains were brought here Saturday morning and carried to Mars Hill cemetery. The parents have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. MARRIED - Mr Walter EIDSON and Miss Gertrude McCLESKEY, Sunday afternoon at the home of the bride's father, Mr William McCLESKEY. Mr B H CARRIE performed the ceremony. We extend congratulations and best wishes. Mrs GOODSON and children of Marietta visited her parents, Mr and Mrs J F BRINKLEY, Saturday and Sunday. Mr Joe CARRIE, Mrs MILLER, and Miss POWER of Atlanta spent Sunday with Mr J T CARRIE and wife. Mr B W GRIGGS and wife of Due West and John PRICE and wife of Octavia spent Sunday with Mr W B GRIGGS and family. Mrs THOMAS of Cartersville visited Mr E D THOMAS and family last week. Mr Frank LEWIS and wife of Lost Mt visited relatives here Sunday. And Mrs Nettie ROBERTS, mother of Mrs LEWIS, accompanied them home. Miss Ollie GIBSON has been sick we regret to learn. Miss Willie MORGAN has returned from Marietta. Mr Charlie VARNON and sister, Miss Sarah, came back with Miss Willie to visit relatives. Mr P L CONNER and wife visited relatives in Cherokee Saturday and Sunday. Mr J W BENNETT is now night operator at this place, Mr Bealor ADAMS has been transfered to Atlanta. Mr and Mrs E F HULL who have been visiting relatives here returned home Monday. Rev Mr CHRISTIAN preached at the Methodist church Saturday night. Prof NOYES of Acworth filled Rev Mr KELLEY's appointment here Sunday. The ladies of the Methodist church realized $38.14 from the ice cream supper given last Wednesday night. The Knitting Mill base ball team played the Kennesaw team here Saturday afternoon.
