The Marietta Journal December 3, 1908
KENNESAW

DIED - Mr J R HILDERBRAND, of typhoid fever, Saturday, November 28th, aged 58
years.  The funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Methodist church, of
which he was a member, by Rev G S BOND and Rev W G CRAWLEY.  Interment was in
the town cemetery, and was conducted by the Masonic fraternity.  He is survived
by his wife and five children, Mrs Bluet BOZMAN, Messrs Burt, Fred and A L
HILDERBRAND, and Miss Jewel HILDERBRAND, who have the sympathy of the community
in their sad bereavement.

Rev Charles GREER of Tifton visited his parents, Mr and Mrs B F GREER, last week.

Miss McGALPHIN has returned to Atlanta.

Mr C F ROBERTS and family have moved back to their farm.

Mr John BRINKLEY and family of Marietta have moved here.

Mr G C BICKERS of Athens is visiting his family here.

Mrs L H HARDAGE won a ninety-dollar certificate in the Baldwin Piano contest.

Mrs Fletcher BRINKLEY, after a visit to Marietta, has returned home.

Mrs HITT and son, Paul, are visiting in Atlanta.

Misses Sarah and Edna VARNON of Cartersville were visiting Misses Ollie Mae and
Willie MORGAN last week.

Miss Fannie HULL of South Georgia was visiting friends here last week.

Mr Millard GATLIN and family of Acworth have moved here, and occupy Mr E D
THOMAS' house on Cherokee street.

Mrs Millie REESE and Miss Lee GAULT are visiting at Elizabeth.

Mrs G R GIBSON and son, Stanley, of Rome spent Sunday here.

Mrs DOBBS of Atlanta is visiting her sister, Mrs E Y HILL.

Dr VANSANT of Woodstock spent Sunday here.

Miss Bertie LOVINGGOOD spent last week in Atlanta.

Misses Lula and Willie MAYFIELD are visiting in Atlanta.

Mrs Walter EIDSON is visiting Mrs A A EIDSON in Marietta.

Mr and Mrs HALES of Atlanta visited Mrs F M BURT and family last week.

Mrs E D THOMAS and children of Cartersville, who have been visiting her parents,
Mr and Mrs C F ROBERTS, returned home Saturday.
